The Dixie Café at The Old Country Store Reopens for Guests; Drive-Thru to Follow in March 

 Jackson, Tennessee - (February 9, 2024) - Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store is inviting Guests to return to The Dixie Café, which has reopened following an extensive renovation to its service and dining areas. 

The Dixie Café still offers a convenient to-go option for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but now also provides Guests with a revitalized, and more spacious, dining area. The final touches are underway on the new drive-thru option, which will open in March. 

“This has been a labor of love and is the culmination of the vision started by my father, and I’m thrilled to see it come to fruition,” OCS President Brooks Shaw said. “We will continue to grow and look for additional ways to serve our Guests at the highest level.” 

Dixie Café’s Operating Hours are:

  • Monday-Thursday: 6:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.;

  • Friday-Saturday: 10:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.; and

  • Sunday: 10:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.

(Weekend breakfast service will commence upon the completion of the drive-thru.)

Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store, located at 56 Casey Jones Lane in Jackson, Tennessee, is a multi-faceted destination encompassing the restaurant, Miss Anne’s Ice Cream Shoppe, Miss Juanita’s Gift Shop and the Dixie Café for takeout, dine-in and drive-through service beginning early 2024. The establishment is gearing up to celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2025.
